About the Scholarship
The Comfort Cases–Chowan University Scholarship is available to all students who apply for the Comfort Cases Scholarship and are admitted to Chowan University.
Scholarship Details:
- Award Amount: Up to $10,000 per year
- Renewability: Renewable for up to four years (up to $40,000 total)
- Enroll as a full-time undergraduate student at Chowan University
Number of Awards: Unlimited — every eligible Comfort Cases Hope Scholar admitted to Chowan University will receive this scholarship

Who Is Eligible?
Students are eligible if they:
- Apply through the Comfort Cases Scholarship Program
- Are accepted for admission to Chowan University
- Enroll as a full-time undergraduate student

Renewal Requirements
To maintain eligibility for the scholarship each year, students must:
- Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
- Complete the FAFSA and all required financial aid documentation
- Submit all required materials by August 1 each year
Failure to meet these requirements may result in the loss of scholarship eligibility.
