Every child deserves the chance for a bright future, and education is one vital way to increase opportunity. According to the most recent research, only about 26% of youth in foster care who finish high school will attend college. And less than 3% of youth in foster care will graduate from college. The Comfort Cases community is committed to changing these statistics. Through our scholarship program we aim to support youth as they navigate the challenges of college or trade school exploration, application, and development.
We present this scholarship in honor of Scott Isaacson, the Account Manager at Integrity Staffing who was tragically killed in 2019 due to workplace violence in Phoenix. Scott and his husband Kevin were huge advocates of foster care programs and proudly adopted their son from a foster program in Reno NV. Integrity Staffing has been a great supporter and partner of Comfort Cases for years.

About the Scholarship
In 2015, Comfort Cases began awarding scholarships to support youth in foster care attending college or trade school. For the 2023-2024 school year, supporters of the Comfort Cases Scholarship Program have sponsored funding for up to four (4) scholarships. Each scholarship will provide financial assistance to up to four (4) graduating high school seniors or current college students enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program or trade school program in the Fall of 2023. According to the most recent research, less than 3% of youth in foster care graduate from college. The Comfort Cases community is committed to changing that number. Education opens doors to better opportunities, and every child deserves the chance for a bright future.
